The house itself is perfect, with everything one would want to Ancient Mariner or Beachcomber, except of course for the coast.
Bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable (usually the biggest deficiency in my experience) and we slept like babies under ceiling fans windy. And the shower head is broad and strong pressure, always fun at the end of a long day.
Bring your own CDs and DVDs with a weak radio signal and there is no available local TV. And bring your books because this is the perfect place to just stroll around and read. This is a short walk to excellent warm bread from a bakery down the street and you can do things that most supermarkets, including walk-in wine. Any fetishes exotic food and alcohol you need to take. There are several options for local dining, and we rate the best among them, Whale Tale, where the burgers are great with local fish. But there's a big city-style cafes and you need to leave your latte is made, unless you can find a local with an answering machine.
The residents are very friendly and all in all, we had a fantastic time doing nothing in particular but very committed and quiet.
